Overview
This is an organization of student artists that meet to collaborate, work on their own art portfolios and participate in group activities that enhance their art education. These students were nominated by their art teachers, maintain an A average in all their art classes and have proven themselves to be a responsible leaders in the school. The membership fee is $40 and includes a senior honor cord, t-shirt, member card and open studio Thursday supply fee. To maintain membership and to graduate with honors, the students must attend all 3 required yearly meetings, 50% of all open studio Thursday meetings and participate in 4 hours of art related community service.
Meeting Times:
Open Studio Art Meetings are Thursdays at lunch (12:15-1:15) in the MSA Art Studio. Students should bring their lunch.

Community Art Exhibiting Opportunities:
- Scholastic Art & Writings Award - Ceramics, Design, Digital Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture. Deadline Dec. 31st. Digital submissions. Ceremony & Exhibit in Georgia.
- Georgia Capital Art Exhibit - 2 Works per teacher. 24” x 30” including matting. Deadline Jan. 12th.
- Annual Metro Atlanta School Exhibit at the High Museum – 2 Works per teacher. Due in May. Exhibit at the High Museum in June. 2D only. 18” x 24” including matting max.
